Akua Sena Dansua Silences Her Critics
A pressure group in the Kpando district of the Volta Region of Ghana, Conscious Cause Movement (CCM) is demanding the withdrawal of Hon. Akua Dansua, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for North Dayi, from the constituencys primaries.
Hon. Akua Sena Dansua is a member of four parliamentary committees, Gender and Children, Public Accounts, Business and Local Government and Rural Developments. Apart from this, she is currently the Minister for Tourism.
According to the group, the North Dayi MP has had three terms in Parliament as their representative with virtually nothing to show for it in terms of human and physical development of the area.
But a list of achievements chanced upon by peacefmonline.com clearly shows that the group has not been fair to the NDC MP.
North Dayi constituency has for some time now experienced lots of development programmes, pushing it to a higher pedestal.
Despite being a member of four parliamentary committees, there is every indicator to the fact that the one-time Sports Minister has performed assiduously in her constituency.
Through the Getfund, MPs Common Fund, MPs NHIF and SIF fund, she has been able to lobby for MiDA loans for farming groups, create employments, give scholarships, organized a tour for Ambassadors and Heads of Foreign Missions in Ghana to Kpando and other districts to discuss tourism, provide clean drinking water and many more.
Below is the Part 1 of the list of achievements in the North Dayi constituency made possible by Hon. Sena Dansua.
