The National campaign coordinator of the John Mahama 2012 campaign team, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has revealed that the current posturing of the defeated opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 elections will make the re-election bid of President John Dramani Mahama in 2016 very easy.

According to him, the adamant anti-democratic tendencies of the NPP after being handed a defeat in the just-ended polls, the beating of media personnel and the stabbing of supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress by rebellious supporters of the NPP are annihilating the elephant family and will make it difficult for them in subsequent elections.

He said, things that are happening now, are being recorded by the NDC and will be played back to Ghanaians in the 2016 elections for Ghanaians to know the stock and trade the NPP.

“We have won, so it’s better they come to terms with that and do the right thing because you see they are annihilating themselves, they are beating media men, civil society groups, they are attacking them and like I said it is going to make our work easier in 2016,” Mr. Ankrah stated.
