A deputy Minister of Information, Okudzeto Ablakwa has sternly opposed the free Senior High School (SHS) policy of Nana Akufo Addo, stating that “the NPP leader wants to collapse education in Ghana”.
Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa who said the free SHS policy was not feasible, alleged that NPP members, during the tenure of the Kufuor administration amassed wealth, collapsed SHS education in the country and sent their children to quality schools abroad. Reports say Okudzeto, who struggled through school, sponsored his sister to the United States for studies immediately the ruling National Democratic Congress assumed office.
The NDC, Okudzeto promised, would fiercely resist the free SHS policy of the NPP at every platform, pointing out that the NPP’s proposal was a scam.
