The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, on Sunday worshipped with the Victory Congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Adenta with a call on Ghanaians to pray for him and the NPP to rule Ghana better come the December elections.

He said Ghanaians should go out in their numbers to vote the NPP into power when the general election is due. He also called on the congregation to fully participate in the ongoing biometric exhibition to ensure they are not disenfranchised.

According to him, the free Senior High School policy as well as other viable initiatives the party intends to embark on can only materialise when the main opposition is voted into power.

Accompanying Nana Addo was the General Secretary of the party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, the operations director of the NPP, Lord Commey, the Adenta parliamentary candidate of the party, Frances Essiam and a host of other party executives.

Nana appealed to the church members to have him in prayers.

“Pray for the country, but don’t forget me. Plead with God to grant me strength, wisdom and kind heart,” he said.
