The Deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Minister Eric Opoku has stated categorically that, he will be unimaginably surprised if the opposition NPP gets 45% in this year’s general elections.

Mr. Eric Opoku said the NPP as a party is totally collapsing when it come to the grassroots level and this not only in the brong ahafo region but palpably across the length and the breadth of the country.

Speaking in an interview with Adom news, the deputy minister claimed, the ruling party has brought unprecedented level of development to the country in its three- and half years of governance. The defeated incumbent MP for the Asunafo South constituency therefore predicted a landslide victory for the NDC come December 7th elections.

He denied claims by the NPP that the NDC was making capital of the president Ata Mills, to secure sympathy votes from electorate. According to him, the achievement by the NPP in its 8 years in government, cannot be compared to the unprecedented achievement of the NDC in almost four years.
