The flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, has called on Ghanaians to seek the truth at all times to bring an end to corruption in the country.

He said this when he led a PPP delegation to pay a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu to pay their respect and also show solidarity to the Muslim community as they celebrate Eid ul Fitr.

In an interview with Citi News, Dr. Nduom congratulated the Muslim community for a successful fasting and ask for Allah’s blessing and unity.

“We know that when they fast, they pray and ask for peace, they ask for unity. We are also asking that if all of us want true lasting peace, then we must seek the truth; the truth about the problem we face in this country, particularly, corruption. We pledge to bring incorruptible leadership,” he stated.

The party also donated some food items and an undisclosed cash amount to the National Chief Imam.
