Spokesperson of President John Dramani Mahama, John Jinapor says President John Dramani Mahama will travel to the Central and Western Regions on Thursday and Saturday respectively to show appreciation to the people for their support during the burial of President Mills.
Speaking on Gold Power Drive on Thursday, Mr. Jinapor hinted that the tour will attract a durbar of chiefs in the Central Region who will advice the president on the best way forward in the country after the demise of President Mills.
He also said “the people of the Central Region deserve to have a feel of the better Ghana agenda. The President wants to ensure the people that even though they have lost a son; they have a replacement in him”.
He also said the President will take the opportunity to inspect some ongoing projects in the two regions to speed up development of the country.
Mr. Jinapor also disclosed that the President will do his best to tour Ghana and interact with the people before the December polls.
