The flagbearer of the largest opposition political party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has requested the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) to reschedule his evening encounter which was originally planned for Tuesday August 7.
This according to Nana Addo is in line with the burial arrangements of His Excellency Professor John Mills who passed on Tuesday July 24, 2012.
Government has announced August 8 -10 for the funeral and burial of Professor Mills.
The NPP flagbearer immediately called off his campaign upon hearing about the demise of President Mills.
He has since been to the Presidency and the house of Professor Mills with a high delegation of the NPP to console his wife and lend his support.
In a letter signed by Nana Addo’s press secretary, it stated that the IEA would be announcing a new date in due course for the evening encounter.
