The flagbearer of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga has called on the people of Northern Ghana to vote massively for the PNC to justify its branding as a 'Northern party'.
He said while the New Patriotic Party, NPP and the National Democratic Congress, get a lot of votes from the Ashanti and Volta Regions because they are branded as Akan and Ewe parties, the PNC performs abysmally in the North.
Mr. Ayariga was interacting with chiefs, opinion leaders and youths in Tamale in the Northern Region.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Ayariga went further to explain that his comments do not amount to ethnic politics. |
