The presence of Hon Rashid Pelpuo outgoing Minister of Youth and Sports in Parliament today created some sensation in the house following a point of concern raised by Hon. Stephen Balado Manu MP for Ahafo Ano South.

Hon Balado Manu was unhappy that Hon Rashid Pelpuo had left the Black Stars in Angola even as they are preparing seriously for their semi-final match with the super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2010 Africa Nations cup.

Responding to Hon Balado Manu’s statement, the outgoing Minister for Youth and Sports told the house that he would leave for Angola this night, Wednesday, 27th January 2010, and expressed optimism that the Black Stars would defeat the Super Eagles.

However, Hon Balado Manu demanded an explanation about the capacity in which Hon Rashid Pelpuo is going to travel to Angola, and whether he is going to do so at the expense of the nation in view of his replacement by Hon Akua Sena Dansua, Outgoing Minister for Women and Children Affairs.
